Really? Huh- Well I never had any friends other than Pochita growing up so I guess I wouldn't know what makes someone a good one or bad then.
[Denji was just happy to have people who wanted to be around him as far as he was concerned and wasn't really thinking about the negative prospects that may have came with the stipulations of his 'friendship' with Makima upon first joining Public Safety. Either way it was better than the life he was leading up until that point being nothing but a shell of a human being who was barely scrapping by everyday to survive, living perpetually off an empty stomach and unlikely dreams. Nowadays he at least was able to feed himself and had a roof over his head with some genuine kinship with Power at his side.
Looking up towards the sky he thought about all of the people he'd seen come and go so quickly in his brief time within Tokyo Special Division 4. Fushi, Himeno, Hirokazu and most of all Aki. A solemn sigh escaping his parted lips before he finally looks back to Rem with a half hearted smile and shrugging his shoulders.]
Even still...It is better than the life I led before joining up with Public Safety. At least I can eat a good meal nowadays.
[He also got to see Makima everyday but he wouldn't voice that to her. Although he didn't know her ulterior motives for being so 'kind' to him but that was neither here nor there.]
